Q. What should I do to my annuals?

A.  When you plant annuals be sure to pinch off blooms when brown to promote healthy growing.

Q. Why do we plant spring flowering bulbs in the fall?

A. Spring Flowering bulbs like tulips/crocus/daffodils and other need to go through a process called "Vernalization". This process of the plant being exposed to cold temperature below ground level allows the vegetative plant parts to be transformed into flower parts.
